Biography:

Subject of ‘This is Your Life’, Winner of the ‘Weakest Link’ and a regular on ‘Just a Minute’, Charles Collingwood is no ordinary actor. Although trained at RADA his career has been intriguingly diverse. Apart from extensive theatre work, Charles has read the News on the World Service, presented countless children’s TV shows, co-hosted a gameshow series with Bernard Manning and, of course, created the character Brian Aldridge ( the JR of Ambridge) in the Archers over 21 years ago.
