Biography

After Dinner Speaker: Nichola McAuliffe has worked extensively in television, radio and on stage. This varied experience makes Nichola an ideal choice as an Award Ceremony Speaker. Her West End appearances include Greg Dorian's production of Black Comedy and Real Inspector Hound, Peter Hall's Wild Duck for which she won The Manchester Evening News Award, Hobson 's Choice playing Maggie Hobson opposite Leo McKern, Queen Victoria in the RSC's Poppy for which she won The Clarence Derwent Award, Mrs Allonby in the RSC's A Woman of No Importance, and Kate in the RSC's Kiss me Kate for which she won an Olivier award. On television she is best known as Sheila Sabatini from seven series of ITV's Surgical Spirit. Nichola has also appeared in several operas and played Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus for the new Carl Rosa Company. Nichola is available for Award Ceremony events.
