After Dinner Speaker Biography: Peter Snow is a genuine house hold name. Probably most famously known for his Swingometer during elections and for his sand pit during the Gulf War Peter really brings to life topics that most would consider boring.
Following on the success of their book Battlefield Britain, published July 2004, Dan and Peter Snow have co-authored another book to tell the story of eight pivotal battles from Amiens in the First World War (1918) to the Gulf War in 1991. The book will accompany a new BBC television series to air around the end of 2006.
After 18 years presenting Newsnight Peter moved to Tomorrow’s World in 1997 where his love for gadgets has been used to full effect.
