An Audience With Michael Rosen
After Dinner Speaker Biography: Michael Rosen is the Children's Laureate. He was born in the East End of London in 1946 and went on to read English at Oxford before going into children's broadcasting. From 1976 until today he has spent his time writing, performing poetry, working on TV and radio and visiting schools.
Michael has been writing poetry for 33 years and among his most well known books are: We're Going On A Bear Hunt and Mustard, Custard, Grumble Belly and Gravy. He was made children's laureate in June 2007.
