Biography: Veteran film make Ken Russell is perhaps best known for his pioneering, often controversial work such as 'Women in Love' and 'The Devils'. Russell is also well known for his films on the lives of composers including 'The Debussy Film' and 'Dance of the Seven Veils' about the life of Richard Strauss.
As well as being a legend in his own right Russell has worked with some of the Britain's best acting talent including Glenda Jackson, Sean Connery and Oliver Reed.
Ken also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother 2007.
