An Audience With Bob Flowerdew
Biography: Born a farmer's son Bob has always loved the natural world.
After college he spent time working for a charity and then worked his way round Europe and North America becoming fascinated by the different farming and gardening methods. Returning home, Bob was offered a position as private gardener with sufficiently free hand to experiment with many of the new ideas he had come back with.
Ten years ago Bob joined BBC Radio 4's 'Gardener's Question Time' and is now part of their regular team where he specialises in fruits, vegetables, organic methods and scented plants. Bob is also a presenter for BBC 2 television's Gardener's World as their organic fruit and vegetable expert. More recently he has become the gardening correspondent for the Daily Express.
