Praise for Darling Clemmie
Great feedback coming in for My Darling Clemmie and Rohan McCullough's sterling one-woman performance as Churchill's extraordinary wife. During the Festival season Josephine Hammond at Tenby reported that McCullogh" held the audience spellbound" with a performance that made every person feel as though they had been "singled out for the confidences given in Clementine Churchill's private drawing room" While Jennie Mann at the Watton Festival spoke of "a tour de force" performance and a "remarkable piece of theatre".
This moving and insightful play, written by McCullough's award-winning playwright husband Hugh Whitemore, and directed by Gareth Armstrong is on the road with Clive Conway Celebrity Productions in 2012. Dates so far include The Hotel Tresanton in St Mawes, Cornwall, on February 11, the Middlesborough Theatre on March 14, The Cornhall, Diss, on June 14 and St George's Theatre in Yarmouth on August 10.
