Tim Brooke-Taylor heads for Coilchester
Tim Brooke-Taylor may be 71 years old but, according to an interview in the Telegraph, he stopped growing up when he was about 17.
Great news for anyone going to an Audience With Tim Brooke-Taylor at The Mercury Theatre, Colchester, tomorrow night (Friday January 13) - they’re going to get a brilliant mix of youth and experience.
Tim of course is a very funny man, veteran of The Cambridge Footlights, At Last the 1948 Show, The Goodies and I’m Sorry I Haven’t A Clue.
But did you know that it was Tim who wrote Monty Python’s classic Four Yorkshiremen sketch? Thought not. He has hidden depths, our Tim. No wonder he’s a big favourite among aficionados of the wonderful touring shows in the stable of impresario Clive Conway.
