Michael Rosen is new Children's Laureate

Michael Rosen is to be the 5th Children's Laureate, he takes over from Jacqueline Wilson and plans to use the opportunity to promote the performance of poetry. In particular Michael is keen to set up a website that acts as a home for performance poetry on the internet for children and poets. The site would act as a 'YouTube' for performance poetry.

Michael Rosen will next be performing his 'An Audience with..' at Aberystwyth on October 4th.
