Description:

An Evening with David Owen during which he will discuss his latest publication, Blair, Bush and the Intoxication of Power

The evening will also afford the audience the opportunity to put questions to this distinguished member of the House of Lords

Join Lord Owen as he presents an evening about a chapter from his new book - The Hubris Syndrome - a timely and powerful analysis of Bush and Blair's style of government.

A statesman, politician and medical doctor, with personal knowledge of the war in the Balkans, David Owen has unique insight into Blair's premiership. With his long political experience, Owen has written a devastating critique of the way that Bush and Blair manipulated intelligence and failed to plan for the aftermath of taking Baghdad.

For one night only he will speak and answer questions about the books' central theme of power and its intoxicating effects on today's world leaders. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions about all aspects of his political career
