Peter was awarded First Class Honours in History & War Studies at the University of Wolverhampton and a PhD by Cranfield University, Shrivenham (the UK Defence Academy), where he has lectured for over twelve years. He teaches courses to undergraduate and postgraduate students on military, political, cultural and social history, doctrine, terrorism, psychological and media operations. Peter has also lectured on military history to audiences in Belgium, France, Germany, Holland, Spain, Italy, the USA, at the Staff Colleges of Bosnia, Indonesia, Kuwait, Slovakia and in Canada.
