Description: Ian Lavender had his place firmly cemented in British television history after playing Pike in ‘Dad’s Army’. After making 10 series of this hugely popular series Ian also took TV parts in ‘Casualty’ and reverted to the war-time theme in ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’ with Nicholas Lyndhurst. Ian has also appeared in Dustin Hoffman’s production of The Merchant of Venice among many other theatre performances. He has recently shaken off his ‘silly boy’ image playing Pauline Fowler’s crush, Derek, in Eastenders. This evening is a must see for Dad’s Army fans and promises to provide a great number of stories and interesting anecdotes to take home.
